Do you need technical skills to use Avatar Academy?
No technical skills are required. Avatar Academy is built for training managers, HR business partners, learning designers and communication teams — not IT departments. The platform uses a fully visual, no-code interface: you navigate through a guided setup wizard that takes you step by step through personality definition, expertise configuration, scenario upload and deployment settings. Everything is done through point-and-click and drag-and-drop. There is no coding, no API configuration, no infrastructure to manage. Your team can create a first working avatar in a single session, usually under two hours. Updates to content, personas or scenarios are equally straightforward — anyone with access to the platform can make changes and republish without technical support. Onboarding support and video tutorials are included.
How does the avatar creation tool work?
The creation process follows a structured five-step workflow. First, you choose a visual base — selecting from the character library (diverse genders, ages, professional styles) or requesting a custom 3D model. Second, you define the avatar's identity: name, role, communication style (formal vs casual, challenging vs supportive), and voice profile. Third, you configure the knowledge base: upload documents, FAQs, scripts, training manuals or any reference material — the AI processes and indexes this content automatically. Fourth, you build your interaction scenarios: define the topics the avatar handles, fallback responses and conversation boundaries. What types of KPIs are available?
Avatar Academy tracks two categories of performance metrics simultaneously. Classic learning KPIs include: session completion rate, average session duration, score per interaction, number of attempts per scenario, and progress over time per learner or cohort. Emotional and behavioural KPIs go further: the system measures confidence (steadiness and conviction of delivery), stress level (vocal and linguistic anxiety markers), empathy (adaptation to interlocutor cues), assertiveness (directness and clarity of communication), and hesitation frequency. All metrics are available in real time in a dedicated dashboard. Managers can view individual learner profiles, cohort trends, and session-by-session evolution. Data can be filtered by date range, scenario, department or user group. Comparison reports let you track behavioural progress across multiple sessions.
Can data be exported to an LMS or HRIS?
Yes. Avatar Academy is built for integration, not isolation. For learning management systems, it supports SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI (Tin Can) and LTI — the four universal standards supported by virtually every enterprise LMS. Session data flows automatically: completions, scores, attempt counts and emotional analytics all appear in your existing LMS reporting without manual exports. For HR information systems, the platform offers a REST API for custom integrations and CSV exports for periodic data transfers. If your HRIS or talent platform supports webhook-based updates, Avatar Academy can push session data in real time. This means learner progress, skill assessments and behavioural analytics are visible directly in the tools your HR and L&D teams already use — no parallel infrastructure, no double data entry.
Are transcriptions available in real time?
Yes, every conversation is transcribed automatically and in real time. As a learner speaks with the AI avatar, their words appear in the session log with a timestamp. The system simultaneously scores each exchange — identifying keywords, flagging hesitations, tagging emotional markers — so the analysis is available the moment the session ends, not hours later. For trainers and coaches, this means you can review any session in full detail: read the exact transcript, see where the learner hesitated, identify which topics prompted stress or uncertainty, and compare the learner's language against the ideal response model. Each session also generates an automatic summary with key takeaways and a behavioural score card. Live session monitoring is also available: supervisors can observe active sessions in real time without interrupting the interaction.
How many avatars can be created?
There is no hard limit on the number of avatars. Each avatar is a fully independent configuration — its own personality, knowledge base, voice, visual identity, interaction scenarios and analytics tracking. In practice, organisations typically build avatar libraries that mirror their training catalogue: a sales negotiation avatar, a conflict management avatar, a technical support avatar, a multilingual reception avatar, and so on. Because each avatar is self-contained, updating one does not affect the others. You can also create language variants of the same avatar — the same persona, knowledge and scenarios, but serving learners in French, English, Spanish or any of the 62+ supported languages. Avatars can be activated or archived as your training programmes evolve, keeping your library current without losing historical session data.
